This is a Hobie Cat sport catamaran of the old generation with hull shapes similar to the Hobie 17, it has a jib which makes it a rather powerful double trapeze. Like the HC 17, it can be equipped with abseiling wings.

These older generation boats are still robust and suitable for sporty cruising, for very affordable prices! It is a very good catamaran for raids for example. There is a Hobie 18 Formula version, more canvas and more sporty than the Hobie 18.
