Its shallow draught allows you to disembark on islands for a picnic or to sleep at anchor. The practical swim ladder lets you bathe from the boat. It has all the features of a large houseboat, without the drawbacks! You don't need a berth, and you can do all the handling yourself. This type of sailboat is therefore a simpler, more economical and more ecological solution than buying a houseboat.

The Laser 16 was designed by Laser, a well-known dinghy builder, in response to demand from families and sailing schools for a more modern version of the Wayfarer. This boat has been designed to enable a single person to carry out all maneuvers (light, easy to handle, simple and safe). This last criterion is useful for single-handed sailing, or to enable the more experienced skipper to take along a crew of beginners.

A boat similar in spirit to the Caravelle, but without the Caravelle's disadvantages. Much lighter, faster, more versatile and safer. It belongs to a special category of dinghies known as rando dinghies. This category is unique. They are not to be confused with the sporty dinghies so well known in sailing centers. The approach to sailing with rando dinghies allows you to concentrate on the pleasure of sailing, and forget all the worries and complexity that can be involved in setting up a more conventional sailboat (masting alone possible in a minute, neoprene not compulsory).
