Ad details : Topaz Xenon Topper for sale in Brest
A family dinghy from Topaz, the Xénon is a welcoming, stable, high-performance dinghy.
Versatile and light (118 kgs), it's perfect for a picnic with family or friends (watertight trunks) after a beach holiday on a desert island. But it doesn't neglect performance, and with its asymmetrical spinnaker, it's great fun for long gliding runs.
Its weight and unique rigging system make it easy to change water conditions and rig the boat in a matter of minutes. Just pull the boat out of your garden or garage, hitch it to your daily car and you're ready for adventure!
Its wide, open cockpit, with benches and a mainsheet pantoire (high boom), allows beginners to enjoy sailing without fear of getting wet.
A motor chair can be installed to facilitate maneuvering in port or docking on the beach.
Can be left at anchor (stable and self-bailing). A dinghy that can be compared to the Caravelle in France, but more modern and safer.
Model: Xénon Manufacturer: TOPAZ (Topper International) Year: 2007 Construction material: Three-layer rotomolded polyethylene (maintenance-free, reliable and rigid thanks to three layers on top of each other) Approval: Category C for 4 persons (unsinkable and self-bailing) Maximum engine power: 3.5 hp Length: 4.50m Beam: 2.00m Weight: 118kgs (can be launched easily with a beach cart or reassembled on the road trailer) Sail area: 14m2 and asymmetric spinnaker 12.5m2
This boat has been designed to allow a single person to carry out all maneuvers (light, easy to handle, simple and safe). This last criterion is useful to enable the more experienced skipper to take along a crew of beginners.
A boat similar in spirit to the Caravelle, but without the Caravelle's disadvantages. Much lighter, faster, more versatile and safer. It belongs to a special category of dinghies known as "rando" dinghies. This category is unique. They are not to be confused with the sporty dinghies so well known in sailing centers. The approach to sailing with rando dinghies allows you to concentrate on the pleasure of sailing, and to forget all the worries and complexity that can be involved in setting up a more conventional sailboat (mast only possible in a minute, neoprene not compulsory). If you'd like to find out more about this rando concept and discover other models, watch the video on YOUTUBE: PUFFINS TREK "comment bien choisir son dériveur de rando". Take a look at my other ads or my Puffins-trek FR website.
Possible options (at extra cost) : Awning, Road and launch trailer (two trailers one on top of the other), asymmetrical spinnaker. Engine also available.
