The Drascombe is a long, wide lugger with a 50 kg ballasted centerboard. All these features make it the most stable and safest of all dinghies. The cockpit is spacious and uncluttered. The flat floor allows two people to lie comfortably and unhindered. With a custom-made tent on the boom, the Lugger becomes the ideal touring and family camping boat. It lets you live the Van Life on the water. You can then camp at anchor on the foreshore like any other sailboat. Its shallow draught (20 cm of water is enough to float it) and ability to beach the boat anywhere give you access to secluded, heavenly spots where you can spend the night in total peace and quiet, right in the middle of nature!
