This exceptional VPLP-designed trimaran, winner of the Rhum 2006 with Lionel Lemonchois, and initially 60 feet long (class ORMA), is extended to 77 feet in 2011 thus entering the Ultime class. Named GITANA 11, the trimaran is designed for racing: she will be hoisted in 2nd place in the 2007 Transat Jacques Vabre (Lemonchois-Guichard) and will be 4th in the Route du Rhum 2010 (Y.Guichard). He participates in several inshore regattas during the Kris ocean. race against the MOD 70. It is slightly faster than the MOD 70 at at all speeds and especially downwind.

Capsized in September 2019 during a Lorient Sète convoy, the trimaran is structurally unharmed and will be a magnificent base for a winning project in RHUM 2022!
