The Wayfarer is the boat that best illustrates the concept of water touring. In the same spirit as the Caravelle, but invented by an Englishman, this boat has proved its worth on long voyages. In particular, it has enabled Frank Dye to make real ocean crossings! You don't have to be Yann Quenet to experience extraordinary adventures in a micro-sailboat. The Wayfarer can do it all. It can take you and your family for a picnic on an island, or take you on a multi-day cruise with your camping gear. The ultimate in salty microadventures!

The cockpit is spacious and uncluttered. The flat floor allows two people to recline comfortably without hindrance. With a custom-made tent on the boom, the Wayfarer transforms into the ideal touring and family camping boat. It lets you live the Van Life on the water (see photos and videos on youtube puffins trek wayfarer world). You can then camp at anchor on the foreshore like any other sailboat. The shallow draught (20 cm of water is enough to float the boat) and the ability to beach the boat anywhere give you access to isolated, heavenly spots where you can spend the night in total peace and quiet, right in the middle of nature!

The WAYFARER is an English dinghy comparable to the Caravelle in France. It has all the advantages of the Caravelle without the disadvantages. It is lighter than the Caravelle (169 kgs) and can therefore be handled by hand on a slipway. The Wayfarer is also more powerful and fun to steer. Last but not least, it's safer, more stable and easier to right.

The WAYFARER belongs to a special category of dinghies known as rando dinghies. This category is unique. They are not to be confused with the sporty dinghies so well known in sailing centers. The approach to sailing with rando dinghies allows you to concentrate on the pleasure of sailing, and forget all the worries and complexity that can be involved in setting up a more conventional sailboat (mast only possible in a minute, neoprene not compulsory, etc.).
